Dr. Funmi Adebo
Dr. Phillipa "Funmi Adebo is a highly accomplished nutrition expert and educator, with a career rooted in her passion for serving low-income communities. Growing up in a family of 12 in a developing country, she has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized populations. Dr. Adebo has made significant contributions in both education and public health over her extensive career.
Education & Career:
Assistant Professor at Huston-Tillotson University, a Historically Black University (HBU), where she taught for 6 years.
Worked with the WIC Nutrition Education Program under the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) for 28.5 years, initially serving as a nutritionist for 3.5 years and later taking on leadership roles as Supervisor, Area Coordinator, and Program Manager for 25 years.
Advocacy & Impact:
Dr. Adebo’s career has focused on empowering low-income women, infants, and children, providing nutrition education and essential support through her work with the WIC program. Her commitment to community welfare and educational leadership reflects her enduring dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of underprivileged families. Dr. Funmi Adebo provides medical and clinical expertise, offering guidance on health-related initiatives at HBH RTC. Her focus on child health and wellness ensures that every child receives comprehensive care.

Charles Jacob Ukaegbu
Charles Ukaegbu contributes his extensive experience in social work and child welfare, advocating for programs that protect and empower vulnerable children. Mr. Ukaegbu is the secretary of the Catherine Ogbonna Memorial Healthcare Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of Texas-Austin and Our Lady of the Lake University at San Antonio, Texas with degrees in Mass Communication and Social Work. He is a licensed Master Social Worker with 25 years of combined work experience in clinical and administrative health care delivery. He was the owner and administrator of Alamo Home Healthcare, Inc. and currently provides medical social work services to area healthcare providers.

He serves as the Senior Pastor of the Assemblies of God Church in Ikenegbu, Owerri, Nigeria, and holds the role of Assistant District Superintendent in the Owerri East District. His impactful leadership extends to his position as a State District Leader in Owerri with the Assemblies of God Nigeria.
